1900, GERMANY: The Polyphon style 45, often referred to as "Sublime Harmonie Piccolo", plays 39.8cm (15 - 3/4") discs across 154 teeth in a duplex comb configuration. One of the most beautiful models made by Polyphon, with a rich carved walnut case with inlaid top, decorative carvings and inset graphic on the underside of the lid. CONSIDERATIONS: The walnut cabinet show just minor wear from use, the mechanics are complete and operative, and the duplex comb is without repair. Plays wonderfully with a rich tonal quality.
