Single 15" Globe Lens on Metal High Profile Body. Incredibly rare and highly sought after single globe lens from Pioneer Gasoline featuring an incredible Native American sighting a passing wagon train as well as unique Pioneer script. A product of Pioneer Oil Company, Minneapolis, Minnesota. CONDITION: Lens is in overall excellent condition showing a brilliant example of one of the most iconic graphics in Gas & Oil advertising. The colors are bright and the lettering and Native American graphic are both excellent. Lens shows minor surface scratching at the chest of the Native American, but overall very nice and well displaying. The outer field and edges are extremely clean showing just light wear. Lens is mounted by snap-ring into a new high profile metal body, which has been professionally painted in matching red. A beautiful displaying piece of advertising, and one of the finest graphic Gas & Oil advertisements ever produced.
