Less than 100 were manufactured by Hinden-Fleishman, as marked "HF CO", circa the 1960s. Based on the World War II German Krummlauf MP-44, this barrel extension for the M1 carbine turns 45 degrees allowing for easier fire around corners and other obstacles. CONDITION: Fine. Nearly all of the original matte gray finish is retained throughout. A nice example of a scarce M1 accessory. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
