C. 1900. The Symphonion Manufacturing Co. New York. Believed to be the largest Imperial Symphonion made, example plays 27 5/8ths discs across dual combs with 12 saucer bells for accompaniment. Coin operated as well as free play operation in a Honduran Mahogany cabinet. American Symphonion music boxes ceased manufacturing in 1902 and survivors are seen in both oak and mahogany. CONDITION: Light wear overall with miniscule surface scratches from handling. The coin operation is complete and working as well as the free play feature. Comes with several discs carried in the bottom cabinet.
