One Quart Can. Scarce & highly sought after C. 1940's One Quart for Silent Chief Motor Oils showing an outstanding Native American graphic with unique script and colors. A product of Security Oil Company, Wichita, Kansas. CONDITION: Quart is in overall very good condition showing excellent coloring in the script and Native American graphic showing just a minimal amount of surface scratch in the field. Like most examples, this Quart shows heavy wear at the bottom under the graphic where the "Motor Oil" lettering has been scratched out and painted over. Quart shows minor surface scratching at the back and sides with no areas of denting. Quart shows a solder seam with both lids intact and appears to have been professionally re-lidded at the top. An excellent displaying example of this rare and highly sought after Quart for Silent Chief.
