Reworked new/old components M1859 first model McClellan saddle used by Phil Spangenberger for early frontier military impressions. Added are 1917 dated WW1 era hooded stirrups, and later supple rigging to allow for hard use. The vintage McClellan retains its open-seat tree with the exposed rawhide cover still in excellent decent condition. Screwed onto the saddle are large, black harness leather sweat skirts. Included is a later blue wool cinch marked: F. BURGESS AND CO. / MAKER / NEW JERSEY. CONDITION: Good. Useable.
