SSP. A very early and scarce Circa 1920's Porcelain Pump Plate from Gasco Motor Fuel, a product developed under Portland Gas & Coke Company in the 1920's and in 1929 was purchased and marketed by Shell Gasoline throughout the Pacific Northwest until the 1940's. Pump plate features very unique colors as well as an excellent graphic with great shelving between the colors. CONDITION: Sign is in overall very good condition showing excellent colors throughout the field with fair gloss. Sign shows areas of faint surface scratch throughout the field as well as some very minor areas of cloudiness in the dark blue. Sign shows one area of chipping at the left mounting hole and shows an ultra clean outer edge free of any wear. The backside shows some yellow paint remnants from its original pump placement. A very nice displaying example of the very scarce piece from Gasco Motor Fuels.
