The 37" long doe, circa 1950's, mirrors Steiff's ability to capture creatures of the field and forest with masterful realism. As if grazing in some moss, the mohair doe is graceful and gentle. She has a Steiff block button in her ear and attractive brown shading. The fawn, circa 1967, is 16" long, has glass eyes and fits perfectly with the attentive mother. Lacking paper chest tags.
