1880, SWISS: Swiss manufactured cylinder music box from an unknown maker. Playing 8 ayers (tunes) on a 19cm (7 - 1/2") cylinder, in a rosewood cabinet with lyre inlay on the lid. Original tune card and lock lid. CONSIDERATIONS: Showing an earlier restoration, the cabinet has little wear, the inlay is intact, and the mechanics of the music box are smooth. Great tonal quality, with a quiet expression. A great example of a well made swiss music box.
Condition: (Excellent).
