A rare and desirable Third Reich Waffen SS EM/NCO "Totenkopf" (3rd SS Panzer Division) cufftitle. Removed cufftitle still attached to part of the uniform sleeve is in a black rayon machine-woven base with machine-embroidered gray cotton lettering, and edged with 2mm wide silver bands consisting of 7 silver aluminum wire strands. Almost 50% of the cufftitle is still fully (top and bottom) machine-sewn to a piece of tunic sleeve Feldgrau wool, another 25% is still partially (top only) machine-sewn to the wool, and the remainder is detached from a strip of tunic wool which is still present. Light wear and staining to the black base, moderate wear to the aluminum wire strands (especially on the reverse), with nap wear and staining to the sleeve remnant. Cufftitle measures approximately 12 inches overall. Cufftitle brought home by PFC Robert Fuller, 101st Airborne Division, 327th Glider Infantry Regiment.
