SST. Maker Marked "American Art Works. Coshocton, O." This C. 1910's single sided tin sign from JNO. T. Barbee Whiskey shows an early primitive distillery operation with an ornate self-framed border. A excellent example of early Distillery Advertising with a great story line and "cute" graphics. CONDITION: The field shows a small vertical bend line starting in the center bottom and extending up to the center of the graphic. There are also a series of small oxidation spots in the field as well. The outer self-frame shows a few surface scuffs and isolated paint chips, the worst of which are along the top and bottom edges of the frame.
