US WWI AU LION MODEL 1918 TRENCH KNIFE.
US World War I Model 1918 brass handled knuckle knife. Marked "AU LION" beneath the correct roaring lion marking on the ricasso. Blade exhibits a gray patina with drag lines on ricasso and scattered spotting throughout. Au Lion marking is mostly obscured. The brass handle exhibits a light patina with crudely cast "U.S. 1918" marking that has been highlighted with red paint. Complete with its correct metal scabbard that exhibits a gray patina. Both belt prongs remain intact. CONDITION: Good.
