SST. Maker Marked The Tuscarora Advertising Company, Coshocton, Ohio. C. 1900's Embossed Tin Sign for Goodyear Tires showing an 1899 Patent Dated Tire graphic with detailed Winged Foot graphic as well. CONDITION: Sign shows a bright and glossy field full of unique script with minor areas of light surface scratching as well as some age staining in the lighter colors. The outer field shows surface scratching present as well. The outer black and gold banded edge showing a heavier amount of touch up as well as nail holes and metal loss along the lower edge. The left lower edge showing some touch up near the "G" of Good as well as some minor touches in the outer fields near the outer edge. Sign is mounted in a large wooden frame which displays the piece very well. One of the earliest pieces of Tin advertising ever offered from Goodyear Tires and an exceptional displaying example.
