German bisque socket head incised “S & H 1279 DEP Germany 16” by Simon & Halbig with molded and shaded slanted eyebrows, stationary glass eyes, painted upper and lower eyelashes (tiny flake in inner corner of left eye), special molding around the eyes, open mouth with lip shading strokes and special shading on lower lip, dimples, pronounced philtrum and chin dimple, pierced ears, antique human hair wig; original jointed composition body with original finish (repair at joints, fingers flaking, wear, soil); redressed in attractive pink organdy and lace dress, antique undies, vintage shoes and stockings. Fantastic doll in a large impressive size!
