Lot contains a World War II German Heer officer’s dagger with scabbard. The 10” nickel plated blade is marked “Alcoso ACS Solingen”. The hand guard and pommel cap are nickel plated steel, with an outstretched Nazi Heer eagle. The scabbard is also nickel plated steel. The unsharpened blade exhibits scattered light marks and areas of freckling near the tip. The nickel plating on the hand guard and pommel cap exhibit areas where the finish is flaking. The nickel plated scabbard exhibits areas of flaking and freckling to about 35% of the finish.
