Pre-Prohibition, c. early 1900s. York Brewing Co. Lager Beer reverse glass sign, with bald eagle on wood barrel with logo. Incredible inlaid gold and silver backer giving depth for the lettering, barrel and eagle. CONDITION: Paint is solid, with no lifting. Some very minor wear to the paint. There is no restoration to the piece. Original wood oak frame. Has original manufacturer badge on bottom edge of frame, "Manufactured by Rodwell Manufacturing Co., Niagara Falls, N.Y. Patent June 21 1892". Frame has some light wear.
