This lot consists of a 14K white gold and diamond brooch, approximately 2-1/4" long with a total dwt of 3.1. The brooch appears to be antique with filigree and scrolling present around the diamonds. The center diamond, which was graded in house, is approximately 0.10 points. This diamond has inclusions visible at 10x. It has a clarity of I2 and G to H color. This brooch is accompanied by an AIG Gem Laboratory report (Trace No. K17J98 and Appraisal No. 000717156008), which was intended to be used for estimated retail value. The report is dated June 2017 and notes that not only is the brooch 14K white gold, but it also has rhodium plating present throughout the brooch. This brooch consists of seven Old European cut diamonds (measurements are approximately 3.00 - 2.00 x 1.20 mm) that have an approximate of 0.32 carats. These diamonds, which according to the AIG report, were graded in the setting, and have SI1 to I1 clarity and G to I color. Another eight diamonds, that are Old European cut, (measurements are approximately 2.00 - 1.60 x 0.96 mm) have an approximate of 0.16 carats. Again, these eight diamonds were graded in the setting, have SI1 to I1 in clarity and J to L color. The report notes that the brooch has a total weight of 4.76 gm. Overall the piece is in good condition with normal wear present.
