The Shovelhead in 1979 and the 80 CI reflect the fourth major crankcase change in Harley Davidson OHV Big Twin motors, which started with the EL model in 1936. This is a true classic at 43 years old and extremely well taken care of. This is a true survivor, and it looks almost the same way it looked when it rolled off the showroom floor. Factory matched FLH Electra Glides with sidecars are getting extremely hard to find in this condition. Own a well-preserved piece of Harley Davidson history. This bike was obviously well taken care of and the pride of someone’s collection, with nearly every factory option available, including 1-up touring seat with backrest, factory color match saddle bags and tour pack with a wraparound skirt light package. All 3 magnesium wheels have hydraulic brakes. Sidecar has windshield and weather bonnet. We have made no attempt to start the bike, but motor turns over with compression and transmission shifts through the gears. Brakes function as they should while being pushed around.
