C. 1902, Caille Brothers, Detroit, MI. This is Caille Bros. competitive cigar trade stimulator to the Mills HY-LO, except there are way fewer of these exquisite cast iron machines in collections today, and fewer yet of this caliber of condition. An incredibly rare and ornate cast iron card machine. Depositing a coin the player depresses the handle and the cards spin. If satisfied, he can collect any rewards due, or he can deposit additional money and hold certain cards in order to gamble to better his hand! Quite the money maker of its time. CONDITION: This machine is in untouched, all-original condition including the marquee and its paper award card. The card reels, instruction labels, and all plating are also original and the plating has achieved a wonderful patina. This rare example of a Caille Bros. early cast iron trade stimulator is fresh to the market from a 30 year private collection, and it is unlikely a better original example can be found. Comes with a Caille cast iron stand. Includes key.
