C. 1902, The Mills Novelty Co., Chicago, IL. Quite possibly the finest original example of this beautiful cast iron trade stimulator from Mills. The player first drops a coin in the rightmost coin slot to turn all the reels. To turn any specific reels after the initial spin, the player may then deposit additional coins into the reels they want to spin to create the "draw." CONDITION: The original casting is crisp and with amazing detail, down to the Mills HY-LO name and draw instructions cast into the body. All original reels, marquee and instruction labels, as well as the finish on the quartered oak case. The patina of the original nickel plating is exactly what condition collectors desire. It is unlikely that you could ever improve upon this beautiful example of Mills craftsmanship at the turn of the century.
