C: 1904. Caille Brothers Mfg. Detroit. "The Caille Roulette" is a 7-way roulette wheel payout machine housed in a rare Honduran Mahogany cabinet accented by decorative copper-flashed plated iron castings with a high contrast. Players deposit nickels into any of the seven coin slots and pull the lever to spin the wheel and watch the ball bounce beneath the glass. The color the ball lands on determines the payout. A marvelous fully restored example, fresh to the market after being purchased into the collection in the 90's. This is one of the finest Caille Roulettes we have seen and deserves a second or third look by collectors. Machines of this caliber do not come to auction often, and this example is truly entitled to the "best of the best" distinction. CONDITION: A full restoration of this rich and beautiful gambling machine. The cash door needs a new lock which are available. No excuses for this machine in a very rare wood.
