"The Caille Roulette" is a 7-way roulette wheel payout machine housed in a rich quartered-oak cabinet accented by decorative nickel plated iron castings with a high contrast. Players deposit nickels into any of the seven coin slots and pull the lever to spin the wheel and watch the ball bounce beneath the glass. The color the ball lands on determines the payout. A marvelous original example, fresh to the market after being purchased into the collection from the Las Vegas Club in the 70's. This is the finest original Caille Roulette we have seen and deserves a second or third look by collectors. Original machines of this caliber do not come to auction often, and this example is truly entitled to the "best of the best" distinction. CONDITION: Untouched original, the lower coin door has been replaced, but the original is present and could be reattached with a new lock. In full working order. Circa 1904. With key.
