An early sepia tone builder's photo of Nickel Plate No. 128, a 2-8-0 built by the Brooks Works in February 1902, construction 4114. The photo shows a clear image of an early transitional round builder's plate. The photo is nicely matted and has "American Locomotive Company Brooks Works Dunkirk New York, USA" printed at the bottom of the mat. The frame is an old oak unit. The frame looks to be original and the whole unit is dirty. The photo has a couple of minor scratches in it.
