DSP. C. 1940s Amalie Motor Oil double-sided porcelain curb sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss with significant brown staining in the white lettering, as well as significant surface scratching throughout the face. Sign has two minor porcelain chips in the field under the "A" of "Amalie", as well as porcelain loss around the outer edges and at the two hanging holes. (8.5). Side 2, has fair color and gloss, with significantly more surface scratching than the previous side. Sign shows areas of surface staining, one porcelain chip in the field, as well as porcelain loss at the two top hanging holes and throughout the outer edges. (8.5).
