An antique nicely made American Pennsylvania Dutch-style painted pine wood blanket chest. It has beautiful hand-painted folk art floral decorations depicted on the front panels, featuring a black urn full of colorful flowers on the golden background. Signed and dated by artist with illegible signature. Condition: The chest has a built-in lock and comes with the key. It retains hidden iron hinges and dovetailed sides. Comes with interior compartment used as a candle box or for jewelry. The paint is in remarkably good condition, with minor age-related wear.
