Partisan blade measures 10", halberd blade 4 - 1/2", fluke 4 - 3/8". This most attractive polearm with brass tack star type decoration, faceted oak pole, and original straps. CONDITION: Head in good condition showing good exfoliation, central rib well forged throughout, pole possibly original. 86 - 1/2" overall. A very attractive halberd of unusual form. PROVENANCE: FORMER COLLECTION OF THE NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM OF ART.
