The stout 14" four sided blade with pierced and fluted ricasso. The plain downturned steel guard with finger ring. The pommel, fluted and of pumpkin shape. The grip of wood wrapped with alternating copper and steel wire with Turk's heads, is fluted throughout. CONDITION: Blade is polished over pits with some pitting, mostly at extreme tip. Retaining considerable original gilding. Steel guard with rust showing through gilding. Pommel with some rust staining showing through original gilding. Grip in fine original condition throughout. This fine dagger is one of the better ones offered in recent years.
