This is a standard Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver with all matching numbers including wedge. Standard features include 4" octagon barrel, .31 caliber, five shot, single action, blued finish, case colored frame, varnished one piece walnut grips, with silver backstrap and trigger guard. The metal is basically a soft grey-brown patina with sharp edges, strong factory markings, original nipples, approximately 60% original silver plating on straps, and beautiful grips with light wear. Lock up is perfect. Bore is excellent. The gun is housed in a vintage oak case with orange velvet partitions, included is a vintage UMC cap tin, an unmarked bullet mold, an unmarked eagle powder flask, a key, and four bullets.
