SSP. A c. 1930s Ex-Lax Chocolated Laxative porcelain thermometer with original wood cradle and non-functioning thermometer bulb. CONDITION: The sign has significant surface scratching throughout the entirety of the piece, which has led to deterioration of the porcelain on some of the raised lettering. The sign shows areas of surface staining and porcelain loss on the bottom and top grommet, as well as around the outer edges. The thermometer bulb is present, but not functioning.
