This all cast iron automatic match dispenser was patented May 11th, 1897. Cast iron construction with mounted lever, which will deliver a match into the match strike area when depressed. The top portion states "Use the Best Up to Date Baking Powder" with a trademark icon in the middle that appears to be a palm tree. CONDITION: The match dispenser shows earlier copper flash, with no breaks, cracks or repairs, as well as a great aged patina.
