This countertop cigar cutter, distributed by the Brunhoff Company, Chicago, Illinois, advertises Don Rosa "Highest Grade Havana Cigars," made by Barnes, Smith & Co. at the turn of the century. There are dual cutters on either side of the mounted riser. When depressed, it will nip the end of a cigar, which is caught in a basin in the middle with a trap door in the bottom to remove the clippings. All cast iron construction with brass nippers. CONDITION: There are very little signs of wear, with no breaks, cracks or repairs. An original cast iron oiled finish with some inset red and white paint in the advertising, and an original swashbuckling graphic in the middle, which quite possibly could be Don Rosa.
