This is a pair of cast iron cigar and match holders. (A) A cast iron match and cigar holder in the form of a British soldier on horseback, with a wicker-type basket to hold cigars, a smaller bucket to hold matches and cigar punch mounted on the right-hand side, as well as a match striker in the middle. CONDITION: There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. There is a great aged patina to the cast iron. (B) A cast iron cigar and match holder with a knight cast to the left, and tree stumps to hold cigars and matches with an additional set of gloves embossed in the ashtray area. CONDITION: It has a great aged patina. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. An impressive looking desk piece.
