The original instruction sheet is dated 1948. The box is an early hinged style with gold label at top. The kit is complete with slide that features the target rear sight and is stamped "Conversion Unit Colt Automatic cal. 22 LR". The original blued magazine is stamped with caliber. CONDITION: This set saw little use as the slide still retains approximately 98% original Colt factory blue finish with light handling marks. Even the box is nice with all complete aprons. If you have an early post-War .38 Super or .45, this set will be the perfect fit.
