Stunning Bru incised on back of the head with the well-known logo resembling a "Circle/Dot" and also incised across the top of the forehead underneath the wig "Bte S. G. D. G.". She has well-modeled facial features with deep depressions on each side of the forehead below the eyebrows, on the upper part of the cheeks and the chin, with pierced ears, stunning blue glass paperweight eyes, well-painted multi-stroke eyelashes, tiny brows and an open/closed mouth with protruding upper lip and painted individual teeth with tongue tip in the space between the lips. She is on the original body with a separate bisque shoulder plate and realistically molded bosom, original well-modeled lower bisque forearms (thumb missing on left hand), on the original firm leather gusseted body with gusset joints at the elbows, hips and knees. The costume she is wearing is a lovely period rusty red jacket with fur trimmed front panel, red pleated skirt, beige procade trim at the sleeves and pockets, and wearing original red stockings and round toed Bru shoes with an impressed "B" in a circle on the sole, still retaining its original buckles as well. She has an antique blonde mohair wig covering the remnants of the original sheepskin wig over cork pate and a nice antique bonnet well fitting the remainder of the costume. She also has a round top antique lithographed trunk with additional items of clothing; hats, socks, a fan, comb, mirror, brush, mache and fur wolf hound, as well as a few later made dresses and antique brown leather keystone boots as well. One of the extra dresses is antique and is very similar in style and material to the dress she is currently wearing. CONDITION: This 17 - 1/2" doll is in very good condition, other than the thumb as noted.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Larger: 18" x 8" x 7".
