Extremely rare and important men's Universal Geneve Film Compax chronograph wristwatch in stainless steel, reference no. 22522. Case diameter is 37mm. Matte silver dial with 3 subsidiary dials, blued steel hands, black Arabic numerals and outer registers. Caseback marked "Enversteel, Swiss, 1174548, 22522". Movement marked "Universal Watch Co., Geneve, Swiss, 287, 261262, UOW". Case is crisp, and appears completely original and unpolished with 2 rectangular pushers. Some light scratches to case, caseback and acrylic crystal. Brand new Stuller replacement 19mm black leather stitched band and tang buckle. Watch is in very good, as found condition, and is currently running. The start/stop chronograph pusher is sticking, and needs serviced. The reset pusher is working. To date, a total of only 7 "Film Compax" UG's are known to have ever surfaced! This particular example was recently discovered, and is fresh to market, being offered for the very first time!

CORRECTION: Possible older refinishing to dial.
