Edgar Brandt bronze lamp base is in the form of a coiled Cobra resting on a circular bronze platform. The bronze is finished in a reddish brown patina with dark brown highlights. The snake holds an interior decorated Daum shade with mottled yellow and orange colors. Base is unsigned, shade is signed on the side "Daum Nancy" with the Cross of Lorraine and "France". Both base and shade are very good to excellent. Base has been rewired with appropriate cloth cord.
