2nd quarter 20th century. Woven with an overall arrangement of floral arabesque design in rich shades of red, ivory, indigo and pale turquoise blue on a deep burgundy red field. All within a floral filled and lotus blossom midnight blue main border with ivory, blue, and floral guardstripes. With good even pile throughout, no stains wear or repairs. End fringe is absent. Carpet is strong and vibrant of palette. Selvage: Rug may have at one time been tacked down in the corners. There are small holes and tears visible at those points.
