An impressive farrier's suspension trade sign. Component pieces consist of a 19th century molded zinc livery horsehead, blacksmith-made hook attachments connect to a wood and iron horseshoe shaped sign "Horse Shoeing", wood chalks and iron braces, worn white background paint with black lettering. The horsehead measures 18" from the wall by 22" tall and the sign is 25 1/2" x 28", making an overall 52" from the top to the bottom when hanging.
