The original was painted by Frank Schoonover in 1925 and Colt released the Patches posters in 1926. There are 5 different versions of this poster. This one is the small text version. It was finally discontinued in 1934. Both metal bands are present. The text is "COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MANUFACTURING CO. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT U.S.A." It is framed in a very nice matted frame. CONDITION: The colors are very vibrant. There is some slight edge wear at the top on the right side. There is also on small tear that has been repaired towards the bottom of the right side. REW
