Engraved after American painter Samuel B. Waugh by William Sartain and published in 1866 by Bradley & Co. Philadelphia, PA. It depicts the President seated at a table in the White House with his arm around his son Tad, and his older son Robert and wife Mary Todd to his right. In the right of the lower margin it is signed "William Sartain" in pencil above a "PROOF" stamp. Framed in an older wooden frame with matting and hanging wire. View 26-3/4x21". Overall 34x28" CONDITION: Good/very good with foxing throughout. Frame has some dings. BAS
