This lot consists of a portrait of President Harry S. Truman, the 33rd President of the United States of America, depict the President with a full on portrait. He dons a dark blue jacket, white collared shirt and a dark blue tie. The President looks to the viewer head on with kindness in his eyes, which are only slightly hidden behind gold rimmed glasses, and a smile found on his lips. He is situated in front of a green background, with the lightest color green directly behind his head. On the lower right corner, “Armin Stock St. Louis” is found. The painting is framed in a light colored wooden frame with red undertones and hints of gold. The portrait was not taken out of the frame for examination and displays normal wear with very minor paint deficient areas.
