Straight blade of 34-1/2" with two medium fullers. Right ricasso with cartouche of a king’s head. Brass four bar guard with oval pommel and wire-wrapped ribbed wood grip. No scabbard. Blade polished and showing scattered wear and pitting overall. Hilt with age patina. Grip showing wear and losses.
CORRECTION: This is a German made pattern sword used by calvary officers. The kings head is a German makers mark for Kirschbaum.
