Post-WWI German "Freikorps" visor cap in a Feldgrau wool with a half inch area of moth damage on the left top, with a couple of other light moth tracks. Olive green wool center band and crown piping have very light moth tracks. Imperial German and Prussian cockades are attached, as well as an early NSDAP eagle. Black leather visor has light damage, and the black patent leather chin cord with black painted steel fittings has light wear and cracking. Brown cotton twill lining and oil cloth head liner exhibit very light wear. Brown leather sweatband is supple and has light wear. Consignor provided some photos which show these types of caps, but not this one specifically. CONDITION: Excellent plus. WZ
