German World War II Anti-Aircraft Flak binoculars Doppellfernrohr (Double Telescope). These were used for direction sighting on the German Flak 36 guns. This example exhibits Feldblau paint with scattered chips and oxidized areas. Maker marked with the 3 letter code "dkl" for Josef Schneider & Co., of Kreuznach on the binoculars with serial number "21338" and blue circle (lubricated for artic condition). Also marked with the 3 letter code "clk" for Breithaupt & Sohne, Kassel on the mount and level. Mount is serial numbered "125594", and level is marked "125568". Rubber eye pad is in place, DRGM marked, and remains supple but has cracked in some areas. Optics appear clear with scattered blemishes. Focus mechanisms move and mount crank functions. A nice example that is ready to be displayed on a tripod. CONDITION: Good.
