This lot consists of a portrait of President John Adams. His body is turned at a ¾ profile while he looks almost head on to the viewer, however his eyes gaze up and to the right. The President is dressed in a black coat with a white ruffled shirt underneath. His wild grey and white hair almost appear to be pulled back with a bow- as it would have been worn in early colonial America. This piece was not examined out of the frame and is framed in a beautiful golden colored and ornately carved frame. Normal wear is present. CORRECTION: This is President John Adams.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
