Early 19th century, Germany. The first with model No. 2035 engraved "Mettlach", a 0.3 liter example decorated with Bacchus designs all over. The lid is decorated with a jester; 6-1/2" tall. The second, No. 2133, with impressed Mettlach mark, a 0.5 liter example with an etched polychrome design depicting a gnome sitting on a branch of a tree drinking from a large goblet. The lid decorated with a rooster crowing at the sun, the thumb grip in the design of a gnome's bust; 8-1/2" tall. Both are in very good condition.
