A beautiful reverse painted table lamp by Handel. The shade features a dark background with outstanding multicolored parrots in purple, blue, yellow, orange, pink and red. The shade is further decorated by butterflies and pink flowers. The shade measures 18” across and is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips, or repairs. Shade is signed Handel "7449" with the artist signature (illegible). Ring is also signed "Handel". The shade sits on a three-socket Handel base. Sockets appear to be original with acorn pulls. The base is finished in a gorgeous brown patina with verdigris highlights. Base is signed "Handel" and is in excellent condition, free of cracks, dents, or deformities. Lamp stands 23 - 1/2” to the top of the finial. Dimensions: 23 - 1/2” by 18”.
