High condition, original, early variant 32-round snail drum for German Luger pistols manufactured by B/N. Loader and snail drum maker's marks match. Snail drum numbered 27939. Reproduction leather carrier is also included in this lot. CONDITION: Drum is extremely fine original finish with some loss of finish to a gray patina at the high edges with some light pitting. Spring tension very strong, with lever moving freely when rotated. Loader also is B/N marked and is in exceptional condition, very fine mechanically, with attractive fire-blue on release latch. Brown leather carrier is extremely fine and has no makers mark visible. These drums fit the Luger pistol, and when fitted with the appropriate spacer, are also sought after to fit the original MP-18,1 machine gun with angled magazine housing.
