Circa 1875. This is a fine Victorian dolls' house that has a front facade in a stained brown finish and on the back a brick painted finish. An ornate balustrade extends beyond the frame of the house as a "widow's walk". There are four rooms in the front and four back rooms. There are three windows on each floor, a staircase and a fireplace is found in each room. The house is set up on a walnut wooden brass wheeled base that allows the house to pivot entirely around. It also has a table to go with it. There are two heavy brass carrying handles and in the widow’s walk is a small storage compartment with a lock and key. This house is featured in the book "The Collector's History of Dolls' Houses" by Constance King, which is included in this lot. A plethora of small scale vintage furniture is included with the house.
