1890, UK/GERMANY: This is an Imof & Mulke 71 key cylinder orchestrion in a burled walnut cabinet. Daniel Imhof, a Black Forest maker of flute-playing clocks and other instruments, founded his business in 1848. In 1874 the Imhof & Mukle firm was established in Vohrenbach, Germany. This example is in a beautiful walnut cabinet, 71 keys and one cylinder (barrel). A beautiful instrument when restored and playing. 1 of 5 Imhof & Mukle instruments being offered in this collection. CONDITION: This organ is in need of a restoration, and it is unknown if all the parts needed are present. NOTE: This piece is being sold from the collector’s warehouse in Oosterhout Netherlands.
